Print proofs completed-- Printing and shipping to backers in November!

We took a bit of extra time to obtain print proofs and make a final pass at editing, art, and layout adjustments for the print book. I could not be more excited to finally share this project with all of you.

Backer Surveys

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://spirewitch.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account.

Hello Backers!

I'll keep this brief and to the point. Art and layout are coalescing into their final forms as we speak. My hope is that we are able to send SPIREWITCH off to the printer next month and start shipping all final rewards to backers in October. Which would put us about two months ahead of our projected delivery data of December. 

I'll be sending out backer surveys next month to lock in all your addresses for shipping of all physical goods. That means if you added on Goblin Teeth and/or BLEAKSPROUT those will head to you after locking in your address next month. 

BONUS CONTENT

Who doesn't love bonus content? I was a bit inspired over the last few months to flesh out some additional content for Spirewitch and thus the adventure is going to be even bigger and better than it was before, at no additional cost to you! If you were saying to yourself "I wonder if there's a table of Curses.." fret not, because there is now!

Don't forget to download and enjoy Adventurer's Guild Admissions Office, here. It's a SILVER best seller over at DMs guild and a pretty neat little one-shot adventure. Especially if you like cheeky statues, puzzles, cryptic notes, and adorable goblins.

Progress and Preview

Greetings Mortals!

Since our last update we have toiled about the spire playtesting the adventure/mystery/monsters, finalizing art and marginalia, and have even begun putting bits and pieces into layout. Today I have a two page spread to show you!

This full spread gives you a bit of preview for our layout, content, and a couple pieces of marginalia that we unlocked from the stretch goals. So clean, so beautiful. Many thanks to our art and layout master Derrick Nau. Behold.

29 Potions Incoming

Keep an eye on your inbox for the last DM Candleskull digital goodie which you'll be able to download directly from DriveThruRPG. I'm expecting this to be ready for your ocular consumption in the next 7-10 days. 

Gen Con 2024

For those intrepid adventurers who will be in Indianapolis this weekend and wish to roll some dice I'll be running two (and only two) sessions of Adventurer's Guild Admissions Office! This DMs guild SILVER Best Seller is an escape room style dungeon crawl designed to test your skills as a new adventurer in order to gain entry into the ranks of the prestigious Adventurer's Guild. The catch is if you die, you are disqualified! Do you have what it takes?

There are four spots still open in game RPG24ND270653 at 3pm on Friday. If you join the game and mention you backed this kickstarter I will have a little treat for you. :)

The other session is sold out!

June Update: Progress and Origins

Greetings Backers! 

The latest on SPIREWITCH.

It is my pleasure to tell you that we are on track with SPIREWITCH. I've recently received the latest layout with a few new art pieces and it is looking positively exquisite. I believe I mentioned that I would share with you a new piece of art this update and thus I have for you the Foul Owl. An undead avian to haunt and harangue your players as they skulk about the spire. This feathered fiend is curtesy of our extremely talented artist Derrick Nau. Isn't it a hoot?

29 Peculiar Potions of Variable Potency

Editing has concluded on 29 Peculiar Potions of Variable Potency and it has moved into layout. As soon as this is complete I'll provide backers with their DriveThruRPG download links. This marks the last 'extra' deliverable, then only the Spirewitch and its PDF should be outstanding. 

Origins Game Fair

If you'll be at Origins Game Fair and want me to play some Goblin Teeth or even have me run SPIREWITCH for you live in person then you are in luck. There are a few spots left in my Friday noon SPIREWITCH game. And a smattering of Goblin Teeth spread throughout the con. I'll be spending lot's of my time in Union Station Ballroom B with ProtoCLE where many excellent designers will be running games from Cleveland Designers. 

UNPUB- The Unpublished Games Network

Interested in playtesting unpublished board games before they hit the market? Come to the UNPUB room at Origins. I'll be playtesting my newest family friendly game BUG SCOUTS from 2p-6p on Friday and Saturday.

PDF Bundle Links Delivered Via DriveThruRPG

Greetings Mortals! 

The month of May is upon us and I bear excellent tidings.

PDFs 

If you backed at a level that would receive the PDF Bundle then please check your email for your rewards! The first wave of PDFs went out a few weeks ago and the 29 Devilish Curses just went out today. 

That leaves only Spirewitch PDF and the 29 Peculiar Potions of Variable Potency still outstanding. On that front I am happy to report that 29 potions has been written and been sent to editing.

SPIREWITCH

The adventure has been written, edited, and moved into layout. Every commissioned art piece has been sketched, approved, and the final pieces should start rolling in over the next few weeks. We are on track to hit our delivery dates. thumbs up. 

Origins Game Fair

Will you be attending Origins in June? Do you want to meet up to learn to play Goblin Teeth or even play Spirewitch? Well you will have that chance! I'll be at Origins as the co-organizer of ProtoCLE + RPG (Board game and RPG playtesting group). There are a number of events that I'll be running so if you are interested be sure to sign up, event registration goes live this Saturday.
